Research and process. I am reflecting on the extinction of many species due to humans - human animals. Whereas we share the 'Lebensraum' as equals, human animals know about the destruction we cause and how we can counter balance it. Why are we not better at organising ourselves for that purpose. I found many answers and many more questions. The animals depicted do not exist and stand for the ones that exist and the ones that are now extinct. We have taken over the habitat of many species exponentially within the last 5 decades. 

I'm testing the composition in thumbnail sketches and consider the colours and the positive and negative shapes that stand out with the use of contrast and tone.
