BYBORRE Amsterdam
Driven by the question of how to make impact data more tangible, BYBORRE, an innovative textile manufacturer with ambitions to reduce their global impact, asked for research support addressing this aspect to improve their newly launched textile design platform CreateTM. The purpose being to educate the user in an engaging, informative, and playful way to encourage better, less impactful choices.
As the UAL residency winner, I collaborated with the sustainability team, doing research, testing and providing final conclusive advice based on an interactive prototype for which I consulted with other teams within the company. The outcome is documented in the short paper 'Integrating Impact Data into a Textile Customisation Platform'. My research was subsequently presented in Biarritz at the Good Fashion Event.
London, Amsterdam, April to July 2022
STOLL GB/ STOLL Germany
Resulting from my investigation of digital knit simulation, I worked for Stoll GB in Leicester to test, optimise and document the process of knit texture export from Stoll software Create Design to CLO3D. The final outcome is a five part tutorial available on YouTube. The collaboration continues with Stoll Germany to improve the process and workflow between the two programmes.
Stoll, a world market leader of flat knitting machines is not only an acclaimed manufacturer since over 145 years known for quality and flexibility, but is highly thought of as an innovative and independent developer in the field of Fashion & Technology and Technical Textiles with a growing range of software.

Jakob Müller AG Switzerland
In my role as part of IMP's expert community, I conducted original research, co-created and co-presented a bespoke plan, ‘Future Strategies’, outlining sustainable actions for Jakob Müller.
IMP consulting, an innovative management partner, focuses on delivering custom expert advice utilising a diverse team of in- and outsiders to collaborate on a future strategy plan. Their customer, Jakob Müller, a Swiss tape and narrow textile producer, serves multiple industry sectors, such as automotive, medical, fashion and home textiles for over 130 years.

EREKS Turkey
In collaboration with fellow MA students, I have conducted research and given advice to innovative denim producer EREKS, Turkey. The project was concerned with minimising the post consumer fabric waste through optimised garment design and lay plan.
London, November to January 2021/22
Microsoft Germany
Microsoft asked UAL to interrogate and explore the feasibility of production on demand and localisation of production, managed through a platform that connects the consumer to the brand. In collaboration with fellow MA students, I have explored the opportunities entailed by using 3D design tools, sourcing and manufacturing processes and tested the thesis based on a garment produced at London based garment factory, Poplar Works. The outcome was critically evaluated and presented to the Microsoft team.
